Yes. This board started in December of 2001. It is hard to believe we have been around that long. Let's keep it going! I'm going to start being more active as well!


Let's see if we can get some of the older members to post old memories from years past. I'm going to hold a contest or two as well.

Man I totally forgot about these forums after some life issues went down....then I got an email today and was like OH YEAH!!!!
 
I'll never forget the first time I came on EGA and was bashing the Gamecube{I was an Xbox fanboy}. Oh boy did they tear me a new one! But for some reason or another I stuck around and ended up not only getting a Gamecube, but absolutely loving it. Another funny EGA memory is the whole MR.KAZ thing. I still to this day don't know if he was for real, or the greatest troll in internet history :lol

Oh my god, if MR. KAZ was a troll....that would be amazing, talk about dedication. :lol

Now that I think about it, I have a lot of really good memories on this forum. I've spent a lot of my life here (maybe too much), but it's given me a lot back too. The religion thread, fhq, jack, and Runefan going at it, all of the console wars, so many good times in chat. This place has been good to me, it gave me somewhere to go when I was 14 and had no friends. :lol

Still hanging out in Indiana? I'm probably going to visit my grandpa over there next year.

Man I have only been here for about 5 years but it has been a wonderful experience unlike any other. In here I learned about life, I learned about videogames, and I learned how to debate with someone without breaking any rules XD.

those people who trolled us here only gave us funny memories. If anybody ever said back then "we will look back at this and laugh" well that person was 100% right, because I am laughing.

Nice to see some familiar faces around here again! And I actually have been here since December 2001. I was 12. :lol
 
I'm almost glad that you can't see the ezboard anymore... I was, what, 12-13? I'm embarrassed for what my oldest posts had to have been.
 
Well, I've only been here since early 2009. I Googled for gaming forums so I could ask about a "game disc cannot be read" error on the GameCube with some BMX game, I think. :P

I then went inactive for a year. I've had some good times here too. Megadrive used to keep these forums alive. Now he's been inactive for some time. :P

Happy 10 years. :3 It's been an uphill and downhill battle sometimes with all the drama over the years, but all in all I just can't seem to find any place that's really better.
 
I joined totally randomly because I was looking for up and coming forums with few members so I could ask to be a moderator before it became popular. :lol All I searched for that day was "video games" and found that EGA had 19 members at the time, so I took my chances. Haha

Yeah... I think I had like 4 or 5 accounts back in the day... The only two anybody ever linked with each other were RJ and Runefan.

Then I grew up. And I'm kinda attached to Thrav, anyhow. xD
 
Yeah, well, you were lucky we liked you, because RJ got banned and then you created Thrav to get around the ban, so when we figured it out (which took like a year :lol), we were gonna permanently ban you again but decided not to. :p
