...

I have lost all of my Gamecube games... as effing simple as that. And my life along with it. I mean wtf... What worse can happen to a man like me?

Ok... here is the story. A couple of weeks ago I was staying over a freinds house, he had just bought a new Game Cube and I was helping him break into it. I keep all of my Game Cube cames in a little Metriod CD case that I got for pre-odering Metriod Prime. So... I wake up with a slight hangover the next day with work coming in a few hours. So I start packing up all of my things and decided to let my freind borrow my games just so he can see what he likes. We'll... I didn't really let him borrow them but it's a long story and I don't want to get into that.

So, it ends up he has ALL of them for almost two weeks, I was too busy moving into my new house to pick them up and I didn't really mind sense all I was playing was Four Swords and X-Box live. About four days or so ago I run by his house to pick up my games, and he tells me that he left the in his mom's glove box in her SUV and that at the moment it was at an overnight cleaners or something. Ok... I can go for a few days without my games, just a few days more.

Yea... we go out today just to ride around. I decided I want to head to a book a music exchange to see what I can grab and I ask can I grab my games before I go home. He's kinda silent for a little bit and then he tells me that when they got the car back nothing was in it. Nothing. I don't know what the hell that means, but it includeds my CD case. I didn't really say much, just that I wanted to go home.

So now here I am. I'm not sure what the fuck to think or feel but at the moment I'm not having that great of a time. Sorry, but this is the only place I could think of voiceing this.

wow....

well... this is one of the reasons I never leave anything at a friends house.

I am sorry to hear about that... how many cube games in all?

he wouldn't have stole them would he? I know that is not the best question to ask.... but it does cross the mind for some reason.

†B†V† :hat

It was about 17 games in all I guess. All of them he best out of my 26 collection. He says he's going to buy them back... I don't know...

And of course the thought of him stealing them has crossed my mind. But for some reason I just can't see him doing that.

Ouch. That freakin sucks. I don't carry around my games, but on trips and such I pack all my cd's (over 30 easily) into a cd wallet, and I never let that baby out of my sight. In fact, I'm so paranoid about losing them or having them stolen I bought 2 cd wallets so that I could spread them around, minimize the damage in case I do lose one. Hell, I even put some in actual cd cases and stick them in hard to find places just to be sure. People say I'm crazy and way too paranoid, but it's stories like these that make me glad I go through all that trouble.

I don't think you're friend stole them, and I also don't think he's gonna buy them back. I mean, realistically, and I'm not doing this to rub salt in the wound, but at $40 a game (which is generous) that's $680, and if it was $50, which is more likely, that's $850. Jesus, if I was you, I think I'd probably break down and cry. That's terrible.

My bet is that it was the cleaner's, or that his mom carelessly misplaced it somewhere not knowing what it was. It's a long shot but maybe try asking at the cleaner's, or just cross your fingers and hope it turns up. Either way, I feel for ya.

Damn. Thats terrible. If that was me i think i would like want to die.

I don't like lending things or leaving things like games or dvds for that with any1 unless i really know they will treat them fine. Im really picky with my stuff.

I would try asking the cleaners or his mum as well.

I hope for you that they might turn up =(

That really sucks... I hate leaving that much stuff over at somewhere... something usually ends up happening to it :(

That sucks, man. I bet some loser at the cleaners stole them to trade it in somewhere for some quick cash. :-[

My roommate had her GBA SP stolen right from our house (my aunt's loser boyfriend stole it for drug money) and she was bummed. We had to buy a new one, and now she's all paranoid about it all the time. Can't say that I blame her, though.

Man, that's terrible. I remember getting hysterical enough when my copy of Donkey Kong 64 went missing. I'd probably drown myself if it happened to my Gamecube games. I never take them out of the house cos i'm kind've paranoid.

Anyway, you should try ringing the company of the cleaners or whatever. That's about all I can suggest. You never know, maybe the cleaners had to take everything out of the car before cleanng it? That's probably not very helpful advice, so I just pray for your collection.

Most of my friends know i get very unhappy about my things if anything happens to them when i let them borrow my stuff......ill probably get very angry and yell until everything is the way i gave it to them.

I had my cousin spill soda on a controller oncer... oh boy.

We'll, I still don't know what to do. I'm going to call my freind and ask him for the number to the place and call over there and cuss them out or something. Or maybe he has found them by now... I don't know.
