360 Warranty extended to 3 years

ugh
Microsoft's extending the warranty on every 360 sold since launch to 3 years. The warranty only covers the 3 rings of doom for some reason, but this is still good news to anyone who has had to pay to repair their 360 in the past...

Oh man that is a breath of fresh air to me... Especially since my warranty just expired last month and it's been acting up on me for a while now.

Well, if you aren't getting the lights of doom yet, you may not be able to fix it, or at least that's what I gathered from the article. Microsoft's greed will never end. :-\ (of course, they did lose a ton of money by doing this)

Yes I know, but if it does end in the lights..... At least I won't have to buy another one...
 
I read some where in the newspaper today that apparently 1000's of 360's are having hardware problems this year :o.
