Well... its not funny... but its actually the law. We learned a few things in my International business course.
So, the US / Canadian...etc... price is proportional to the strength of the currency (IE what its worth in that country). So legally... Nintendo / Sony has to make their prices that way anyway
I found it amusing I guess.
I know we were all joking on it anyway..... kind- of interesting to see how it all works out.

Chapter 8, PG 295.The Law of One Price: States that in competitive markets free of transportation costs and barriers to trade (such as tariffs), identical prodicts sold in different countries must sell for the same price when their price is expressed in terms of the same currency.
