Hi All!

Square-Enix has to know that if they were to re-release a "Souped-Up" version of "FF7" it would fly off the shelves,I recently made a post about it,it also showed on Tv once,a brief clip of the very beginning of the game where Cloud just hops off the train in a much better looking demo just to give us a small taste of what they're capable of doing.Maybe they're already in the process,like most outfits like that they usually not known to divulge too much info to the public with respect to things of this nature.
They don't need to plant the seed,the tree is already there,all they gotta do is trim it up.So what's the problem?

Well, I think it would be pretty sweet if they did that. I am not one to need good graphics to enjoy a game, but the graphics on the original FF7 were so horrible it actually made it hard to play. It's not a huge deal to me whether they make it or not, but I definitely would buy it if they did.

Really? I know the graphics sucked but to me the gameplay was so good that I forgot that the game had bad graphics. I still play it to this day and it doesn't bother me.

Well, after a while I got over them and it was ok. They were just so drastically different than the later PS1 games I had played that the adjustment was difficult. I can go back and play Mario 3 on the NES and that still looks good to me simply because it is bright and colorful, but FF7 was just so dark and drab at first, not to mention the sound effects were of NES quality! But, yes, the gameplay and story are great, and once I got to that Goldensaucer place it got real awesome.

You didn't like the Goldensaucer? I thought the battle arena and the bike game were fun.

I'm talking about when:

Cloud goes into his comatose.

Although Gold Saucer was one of my least favorite parts of the game as well..

The best part was running the track on my souped up Black Chocobo (named Mearas - ha @ mixing fandoms) screaming "Eat my dust chickens!!!!"

I would really love to see this game with some really great graphics.

Hehe, right on! Another nice thing about a new game is that you'd actually be able to use the analog stick :D
 
Well, the pressure on Enix would be incredible if they had to remake one of the supposedly "best" games ever. If they failed. Enix could suffer from the fanbase. :/

they have done it before (FFIVDS) i bet they can pull it off again
 
I wouldn't mind a FFVIII remake but there needs to be good quality new IPs. Take a chance. Hell, a Parasite Eve remake would be fine with me.

Sigma Harmonics would be awesome to see in the NA. ^_^ If they had something somewhat similiar to Parasite Eve (survival horror) they could have a good idea on their hands.
