About VGA adaptors...

'Ello again. I was wondering, does anybody here know much about VGA adaptors? I'm thinking of getting one to connect my 360 to my computer monitor, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what I would need to do this.

I was hoping to just get the official one ( http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/ )

I'm hoping to get the 360 to work on my monitor and on my 5.1 surround sound system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

um... you would just need that cable and a monitor.

tell me how it looks on your monitor though... I've never really got a console to look REAL good on a monitor.

haha, I've had the total opposite experience. Now especially, a lot of the high end video cards will accept high def inputs and the 360 looks spectacular on a good monitor.
