Advent Rising

I heard it kind of bombed... :-\

But I also heard that the musical score and SFX were amazing. If anyone ever watched the Electric Playground or Reviews on the Run then you'll know TOmmy Tallarico, and apparently his studio did all that stuff. I know he's really passionate about that sort of stuff and my one friend that did play that game said that the sound really made the game epic and immersive, it just wasn't fun to play, lol.

It's a sub par game who's marketing strategy was a possibility of winning a cash prize

controls are kinda glichy and the graphics wont be winning any awards
example, you have to auto lock by flicking the right analog stick but you also control the camera with it, so you just end up targeting every which way and the game also auto targets at times

I'd say rent it if you ever wanted to see what halo would be like if it was a bad game

haha I was lookin at screen shots..n It looked sorta like Halo actually...it showed the guy in a what looked like a warthog...and one level looked like the island level on halo. :lol

yeah, it's sorta like a bad halo clone....really bad since halo was awesome

Ya, the game looked really good (I thought so anyway) but I heard it had some serious control issues that really just made the game un-fun. I still plan on renting it though, I've played through many a bad game for a good story.

Who knows, maybe you'll win the "cash prize", so far this game and an mmorpg are the only games to use a cash prize as a marketing ploy

anyone know of other games that did that?

My cousin owns this game. I can't stand it. :hh As stated before, the controls are VERY glitchy, and it gets really annoying to lock on to things. The graphics are pretty bad too.
