Heck yeah, I think Animal Crossing DS has the potential to be a killer ap for the DS, just like Tetris was for the GB and Pokemon was for the GB Color.

I mean...up to 4 people in the same town at the same time! Using the stylus to type out your letters. Wifi to visit other people's towns easily. I can see me fighting with my roommate over some item in Nook's shop.

It's like they made the DS just for Animal Crossing.
 
My Nintendo Power said you can roomie with 3 other people (online people) in the same home. Everyone has furniture privvies too :o
 
Wicked....yet the only thing I heard is there will be no NES games....the creators felt it took away the "adventure" of the game itself...

I have mixed feelings...sure you get the awesome addictive gameplay...but no NES games? I dunno...maybe I'm just being skeptical and missing the point of the main game.

Yet I played this game to death just for the Nintendo stuff :(

This game is sounding very cool!

@ mega.... I know, I am a bit disappointed too..... it would be cool if they could keep track of high scores... and that you could take on people in those games (or play 2 player with someone else in the house). Why don't they ever think of things like that? :lol
But hey... its going to be awesome, addictive, etc.

Anyone have a release date on this yet?

I wouldnt mind getting that game myself. Currently I am backlogged with getting Nanostray, Nintendogs, and Yugioh.

I will have to put Animal Crossing either on the Christmas list or not at all.
Does anyone know if it similar to the one for the Gamecube, that I have never played or seen before in action.
