Animal Crossing

I'd heard rumor that the second animal crossing on GC (i think) wasn't coming stateside. anyone know if that's false (i hope)? gotta buy a DS as is for the handheld =)

so far, there isn't a second animal crossing released (I believe... or I have not seen anything on this). NOW... there was supposed to be a second one, but I think they are just concentrating on their DS game for now.
