Another Code: R (aka the Wii sequel to Trace Memory)

Back in October Nintendo announced that Another Code: R - Door of Memory was in development for the Wii. Now, with the game's Japanese release almost upon us, new details have been revealed about this sequel to DS adventure game Trace Memory (which was known as Another Code in Japan). Set two years after the events of Trace Memory, Another Code: R once again focuses on the exploits of Ashley Robbins. Now 16 years old, Ashley has been invited by her estranged father to go camping at Lake Juliet-the place where her mother was killed 13 years prior. As you explore the area and use the Wii Remote to interact with various objects (such as a camera and a water-testing kit), you'll solve puzzles, converse with characters to advance the plot, choose from branching story paths, and eventually unlock Ashley's memories of the past. There's no word about a North American release, but hopefully that announcement will come at-ahem-another time.

Trace Memory rocked. It was a great game I played several times through. There were different endings to it so maybe this one have some good other endings too. ^^

Yeah it mentions branching story paths, so that's exciting. I just hope they are able to make use of the Wii as well as they made use of the DS.
