Is there a way to make a CSS counter?

or anyone else?

I really don't think you can.. all CSS really does I think is help make the page look cleaner layout wise. I don't think there are any script writing for it to be able to do something like that :s

Could it have been you reading about CSS being able to count up on the page? Like on seperate instances on a tag? It is able to do that I think

I have to admit.. I was reading late at night and I was pretty tired.

But I thought it said somthing about a counter..and gave some code.

I hope I didn't misinterpret the book.... :lol
if so... this topic is going to get locked :p
