Anyone get lost planet yet?

The graphics are good but I just don't see myself liking the multiplayer too much and the singleplayer apparently isn't mind blowing, just average.

The last 2 issues of Game Informer had pics of "Lost Planet: Extreme Condition". It does look really cool, and I have been admiring it for awhile. They gave it an 8.25 rating and then the second opinion was 8.5, so those sound like good ratings. Plus they gave it "console game of the month". But on the negative side they said it was somewhat short and boring at times. On the up side, they said it was easy to control and had very nice graphics. The replay value was listed as moderate, and they said you mostly are running around and gunning things.
They said, "Capcom continues to bring top original IPs to the xbox 360 with Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Jarring explosions, devestating weapons and armor, challenging gameplay, and ridiculously large bosses all make this frosty ride one worth taking. If this is the kind of gameplay we can expect in 2007, we say "bring it on!" "

After playing the Demo's I am still between this and Genji for the PS3. I like Genji because it reminds of Sengoku (my all-time favorite game series)!

You can download the demo to your PS3. It has its quirks, but is a fun game. I rented it from Gamefly and liked it and so did my kids. I may get both since my wife just gave me a $100.00 Gift Card to Wal-Mart.

Anyone play Lost Planet through yet? I just want to get some thoughts on it before spending the cash. The demo is good, but if it is repetive and boring, I do not want it.

I rented it and played the first mission, and I got bored with it. I think it's just not my kind of game. I don't know if it's repetitive because like I said, I only played the first mission and stopped.

I played a demo at Gamestop, seemed like Gears of War without the "use objects for cover" part. I'd get Gears before Lost Planet.

Well, I think all of us 360 Owners have played the demo and have Gears. I am more interested in seeing if someone actually has the game and played it more. I have played game demo's where the best part of the game is the demo or the demo is just repeated over and over and over. I just want to find out that that is not the case. Thanks!

I have it and like it. The story kinda sucks, but the game is pretty good. The online is great if you have plenty of friends to play with. I give it an 8.5. Hope this helps

I bought it, never played it and then returned it and got Rainbow Six: Vegas instead because my friend wants to play online with me with it. Maybe I will get it later on.

Here I am in the X Box section, time to troll some that way I can be an asshole.

In all seriousness, I was pretty impressed with how this looked at E3. I played it for mere moments because NIntendo had this thing called Wii across the convention center that I just had to stay stuck to. But it did look good.

Still not enough for a 360 for me, though. I want more stuff like Culdcept Saga.
