Anyone know how to get a Gun to work on the 360 for HOTD III?

I was looking to buy House of the Dead III with a Light-Gun (made for the original Xbox of course), but it says that HOTD III will work on the 360, but how do I get the gun to work? Just curious!
 
I don't think it would be possible. The light gun doesn't have a guide button. IIRC, that is why you can't use a USB adapter for the original Xbox controllers.

You can play HOTD3 with the regular controller, I think, but where is the fun in that?

That is what I thought, but I was hoping someone knew a way around it. Thanks! I may just have to buy a Dreamcast and settle on HOTD II.
