Anyone use a d_skin?

Or see these things? They appear in my GMR magazine, and appear to be thin, plastic things that slip onto the bottom of game, music cd's or DVD's and protect them from scratches. And, they can s'posedly be kept on while the disk is in use.

I wonder how much they cost? Or how well they work?

If you're talking about what I think you are, those are really good. They don't work if your disc is already scratched though. They're for prevention, not repair. :)

But basically, they are clear, so you can put them on the disc and then play it without taking it off. You can even burn to a CD even if it has the d_skin.

They're pretty inexpensive. I think it's like $4.99 for a pack of 5. And yeah, you can take them off at any time. They're pretty popular sellers at GameStop.

Check out d_skin's website. It has a cool intro where it shows you what the d_skin looks like and stuff. I'm not sure if it's ok to link to it so I won't, but you can find it pretty easily if you google it.

actually... there is a chance that I will carry these as well.

I am in talks with the company right now... and I may be carrying them soon.... just an FYI :)
