Anyway to get a 360 repaired if registered by someone else?

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
I had a strange customer call me and ask me this question today. I honestly had no idea how to get pass that. This girl over the phone was really nice up until she praised the manager, whom was "ALOT nicer" according to her.

So to get sweet revenge, I know she will call tommorrow. I want to know, HOW do you get an Xbox 360 repaired with the 3RR's, if it's registered under another name.

Now she bought the system used from our store, but we gave her the information already how to get it fixed. Sadly, Microsoft kicked her back, telling her to get the original person's info. Which is just plain sad.

Yeah, the only way you can do it is by getting the previous owner's info. I did that with my roommate, but since I knew him, all was processed fine.

I got it!!

360 ownership is definitely transferable. I bought a 3RROD 360 off Craigslist about a month ago. Called MS, and transferred ownership. The thing is, they do need some kind of proof that you are the new owner. Otherwise, you could have been somebody that stolen a 360 from somewhere and then wanted to register it. So they typically ask you a few questions about the previous owner, like the guy's name and address, etc, etc.

The only info I had, was the guys first and last name and his phone number. I didn't have anything else. I told them I bought it from this guy off Craigslist. They seemed satisfied with my info, and started a repair request thing.
