Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG you'd love to have on American Wii

OMG this is the game that's made by people who worked on Tales of Symphonia.

I'm definitely going to be getting this game.

I'll post up some info I have on this game later. ^_^

please do (and for some random reason it reminds me of Eternal sonata as well)

Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG you'd love to have on American Wii

How did I not see this? This game looks awesome.

Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG you'd love to have on American Wii

the development team of this game is more impressive than i expected

roducer (Marvelous Entertainment Inc.): Hideyuki Mizutani
Development Producer (imageepoch): Ryoei Mikage
Director (imageepoch): Hiroyuki Kanemaru (Various Tales games including Tales of Symphonia)
Scenario: Takumi Miyajima (Tales of the Abyss)
Composition/Music Director: Yasunori Mitsuda (Luminous Arc series, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Shadow Hearts, and Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht)
Main Character Original Design: Kenichi Yoshida (Eureka Seven)
Roguresu Design: Shin Nagasawa (Bahamut Lagoon

it was also announced for an American release in 2009.

and... the battle system from what i see and read looks like is going to be kinda like Eternal sonata if i am not mistaken
"The game is a turn-based RPG. There will be three-character parties, with a single AP gauge being shared by the team, which empties as various actions are performed. Multiple attacks are possible, as well as massive attacks that will drain a lot of AP. If team members use the same skills, those skills will be increased. There are also summon beasts in the game called "Roguresu."

the Japanese trailer.

and obviously i can't wait for this game *writes down in must have list*

Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG you'd love to have on American Wii

Oh, I would LOVE if the battle system was similar to Eternal Sonata. ^__^

Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG you'd love to have on American Wii

Yeah if it is like the system in ES then I will be glad. Definitely one of my favorite battle systems as of late.

Funny comparison, but it seems to have the Japanese fans stirred up about the box art stole an idea from another Bandai-Namco JRPG, by the name of "Tales of Vesperia". See what you think!

In my honest opinion, this style of boxart has been around for decades.

Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG you'd love to have on American Wii

Good they need to change this bland boxart.

Though the entire idea of Arc Rise Fantasia seems carry many of the same "graphical style" as Namco Bandai tales games.

that's just namco style... just like final fantasy has the usual final fantasy with some kind of image blended in the name of the game....

Re: Arc Rise Fantasia- The JRPG that's coming to America.

IM so stoked for this quite interesting game. I still think that it is some "tales of" game ripoff in every sense, lol. But Im still getting on day 1 for sure.

It's coming to America! Thanks to Ignition, who published Muramasa :D

We already knew it was coming a long time ago, honestly how is that news article relevant?

Though Amazon had the release date for February, waiting for Summer is now not so good

why do you say "we"? i didn't know who was publishing it and when it was coming.... i was still praying it had an American release, these news are relevant because there are people who don't buy at amazon or don't know something about the game.... if you have time to criticize the news posted by mega you might have time to post some yourself.
