I was just curious,do any you members hangout as friends when your not online?I fully understand that some members live on the other side of the world,I guess what I mean is you guys have known each other online for several years, have any of you ever hooked up,or are some members your friends that maybe live a few blocks away?

I was going to look at where all the members in this forum live, but the procedure would take forever due to members that don't divulge that info.

So what your trying to ask is, do any of us have any friends outsideof ega?

hm.... next question please :lol

I believe some of the Indiana folks live right next to each other and have met. I would love to be able to meet some of you guys though.

I can honestly say that I would feel comfortable meeting most of you in person. You truly aren't the creeps you see on the news. :)

I hang out with Mrs. Enigma in lala land. Does that count? :P But yeah, I would love to meet most of you all in real life.

me, Mai, and Jaded all live in the same house. :D

Me and Mega and Alee hang out on FFXI sometimes... ^__^

I know some of the people that joined.... but none of them are still active :'(

Silencio.

Now that I actually understad the question, I dont think I would liek to meet any of you online. Its not you, its me, im a lot more lame in real life. And since im not exactly teh shizz online, well... :lol

Before we started making podcasts I'd never even talked to anyone from this forum outside of this forum. Now that I have I can honestly say hanging out with people from this board in real life would be a blast. I think Strubes is the only person who lives remotely close to where I do (if you ever come this far north my offer of buying the first round still stands, lol) but I maintain that someday an event or occurence could see a number of us meeting in real life. You never know...

Haha....well, SpartanEvolved and I have known each other for about 15 years, and I've met BV on multiple occasions, since he lives basically down the street.

Not sure if anyone here would want to hang out with me in real life. I mean, if you're okay with camo pants, a grease-stained t shirt and boots, then okay.

As for gamers that I know, most are the epitimy of n00b. I mean, how dumb is it to act out parts of Halo 3 at work? Okay, my work. And add the comments that they hear on live even! :hh

I am in Minnesota, so I guess that is somewhat close to you. I have been to Canada once to go fishing and it was a blast. I'd love to make it up there again someday.

Really? Whereabouts in Canada did you go fishing? You and strubes should take a road trip up here sometime. :lol

I live in a part of Canada where you get ridiculed if you're not wearing those items. Seriously, I got ragged on the other day because I was unsure if the wheel bolts I needed for a Morris hubcap were fine threaded or not. Turns out, they are. :lol

I think a guy like you would get a lot of respect in a place like this, Dart. The rednecks would appreciate your practical knowledge of mechanical devices, and the geeks would appreciate your impractical knowledge of worlds that don't actually exist. You should come up fishing with X2 and Strubes. :D

I stayed at a lodge for a week on "Little Vermillion lake" in Ontario. The only way to get there is to fly in from "Red Lake". It was the best fishing trip I've been on to this day. I caught a 45", 30lb Northern Pike on that trip; I'll never forget it! And yeah a road trip sounds awesome. It's something I've always wanted to do. Maybe when gas isn't $4 a gallon we can make it happen :D
