Assassin's Creed PS3 Discussion

So today, I finally got the chance to pick up my copy of Assassin's Creed for the PS3. Now, the mixed reviews scared me a little, so I had mixed thoughts. When I first popped it in though, all of those hopes were brought to a whole new level. This game is a masterpiece. The story is incredible with a crazy twist right at the beginning!

There's tons of areas in which you can roam freely either on foot or on horseback. There's three different flags you can collect..60 Templar Knights to track down and kill, people to save (which gains you allies)...and the battles. There's so many different options when attacking...I actually clocked out of work early tonight just to get an extra hour in for this game! :lol

Anyway, anyone else play this?

Oh, and the PS3 version runs faster for some reason. The load times are drastically shorter than the 360's. :)

I've been wanting this game for PS3 forever and hopefully I get it soon...
One thing is that I heard that there is a glitch where the screen goes white and you have to start the system all over...has that happened to anyone yet?

Got Assassin's Creed about two weeks ago.....I think....

Anyway, it was too quick and froze on me alot...that and I got bored after beating it...not much replay ability....

Also, I have fun going around killing innocents since I beat the game and don't lose sync. stuff when I kill the annoying beggars and free innocent folks of the game.....

By the way, I'm tired and just going on and on... :-X

Yeah, forever. He said a mild swear word. *gasp*

Eh, he's been given several chances.

Back to topic, I've sold my Assassin's Creed copy after beating it. Can't wait for the sequel. :D

Yeah, but think of it this way.

I could have gotten Bioshock, CoD4, The Orange Box or Mass Effect Instead. Or a few cheaper games, like R6: Vegas or Crackdown.

This game was truly a disappointment for me. It was just plain repetitive, which was really the main problem, but the other problem was the story. I would have rather it just set in the Crusades, instead of throwing in all that Sci-fi crap.
