You wouldnt want to ruin your psp,  seeing as how expensive they are

hey.... you know when the Xbox, ps2, and cube went online... I told people there were rumors of virus that would kill systems off like this. It ended up being a trojan... but no one believed me :lol

Seems like they finally found a way to successfully do this.

I am telling you, this crap will get more and more as time goes on. I cannot believe Sony wouldn't have protected the system files somehow.... maybe a program in there that won't let changes be made... period. I am sure there would be ways around that... but at least it would help.

Like I said there will always be good and bad hackers. This is all at your own risk, so if you install unauthorized software then thats your mistake. But killing off a console system is just plain wrong.

They will get caught. Im sure of it. I wouldn't be surprised though.

I'm not saying they could get away with it, you can't hide a trail unless you never make it. But with online gaming being supported by all three next gen consoles, it could happen. Or even disgruntled fanboys might...

Um, what was the link about?? Because the link was dead by the time I clicked on it. Could be a hacker?? Maybe. Maybe not.
I assume it's about the PSP going online and being messed up by viruses?? And to think, I didn't want one because I'd end up scratching the screen all up... :-\

You pretty much nailed it. Your assumption is correct.
