Best Buy testing price matching of used games.

So basically, if you find the same game USED at GameStop, you can price match it at BEST BUY for the brand NEW copy of that same game!

Example: You see a used copy of a game for $54.99 at GameStop. Best Buy has it for $59.99 and they will price match it to $54.99...for the brand new copy...

So far, only Utah based Best Buy's are testing this theory out.

Smart idea....I like. Unfortunately they don't always carry many of the older games, though.

Considering that a $19.99 game at BB will often be at GS used for $17.99, I'd rather tske my business to BB for a clean copy of whatever game.

Yeah, there is no downside to getting a brand new copy for the used price. If this goes nationwide, GS is going to be seriously hurting. MM is right though, a lot of older games aren't carried by Best Buy.

Well this great for Bestbuy customers I don't think it's going to be that bad for Gamestop Bestbuy has a limited selection of titles and few locations compared to Gamestop.
