Best Buy to sell used video games

This is an interesting move, they have a lot of stores nationwide and have a decent selection of video games. I dont think this will hurt Gamestop's and EB Games sales.

interesting. I would do business with them
I won't set foot in a Best Buy. The one in town has the worst customer service ever. They even voided the warranty on my mom's computer because she didn't want to pay them to install more memory. They could offer games up for free and I'd still not go.

My Best Buy gave out free copies of Forza Motorsport...really limited though. Or so my friend told me.

That really sucks. I dont think they are allowed to do that. They have to honor the warranty. By the way is this the "Best Buy" extended warranty? Or the basic manufacturer warranty?

well the closest Best Buy to me is about an hour away. But when we go on vacation there is one 5 minutes away from our condo. I always love going in there. I have never had a bad experience there yet...

Ok? I know you would be the first one in the door if they were giving out free games. Doesn't matter if its new or used, its FREE!

Anyways, when I go to Best Buy I try and act like I dont know what Im looking for and I ask for help, and the people that work there really dont even know wtf they're talking about! Im like "I should take your job." Last time I went to Best Buy was to buy myself that Tv tuner card, I asked the guy "Do you have any USB tuner cards?" He told me "No" but yet it was sitting right in front of us, he tried to point me into the most expensive one they had.

Of course they sent you to the most expensive one, they are salesmen. Yes a lot of the people at Best Buy are clueless.

They do try to direct you to the more expensive stuff, but as long as you are smarter than them you should be fine. One tried to sell my dad a Cable Modem, yet we clearly told him we have DSL.

I dont know about you but principles mean a lot to some people. If they would have screwed me like they did to Dart then I wouldn't line up for a free game. It's easy to turn down a free game.

Meh, it depends on the game.

Turning down a free game ism't very smart though...speaking economically. Get a game for free and sell it for $40, it is pure profit.

Money and material things dont mean that much to me. Money is evil.

Ok what if it was the new FFXII? Your going to turn that down? Or how about the new Zelda? I'd be the first one in line for those!

It was the manufacturer's warranty. Two months after buying it, the HD went belly up. She boxed it up, and took it back. The guy at the customer service desk asked what was wrong, and she said that the computer crashed. He looked at the reciept and said, "Uh, looks here that you bought a memory card but didn't have us install it. There's nothing I can do for you." My dad installed it because he was a friggin' electrician for like 20 years. And even worked as a TV repair man in the late 70s. I personally went there one day to get a memory card and he asked if I wanted them to install it. I said no. Then he stalled and wouldn't sell it to me untill he found that I didn't buy my computer there. Now I go to Circuit City. I don't care if I pay more money there for the same product. I have never been screwed by them, and they have been up front with me on everything.
And yes, if someone at Best Buy advertised free games and whatnot, I'd go somewhere else and pay for it. They have terrible service and their personel are trained circus monkeys. Besides, if you don't stand for something then you'll fall for anything.

Simple. I can turn any game down. Plus Zelda is worth paying for, so Ill be in line too, except at a different store. You guys can stand in line all you want, if thats what you guyst want to do, but if a store screws me then they arent going to be seeing me in their store.
