I made this topic before at the old board, but since there are some different members here, I thought i'd do it again.

My favourite so far is the remake of Resident Evil for the GC. It's got such a great atmosphere to it and it actually creeps me out for some reason.
 
I'm not going to vote, since I played about 20 seconds of RE3 and none others, but I know my friend is obsessed with the Resident Evil series. I'll ask which his favorite was.
 
I voted for Resident Evil 2. I think Resident Evil 2 was the best of them all, it wasn't to hard and it wasn't to easy to finish the game. I liked the whole sceranio thing too, made you play both discs. Only thing I didn't like was all the backtracking you had to do just to open a door or something, that got really annoying, but overall a good game.

For some reason I find that Resident Evil is the hardest of them all and with every new RE game that is released it gets easier and easier. To me, RE3 is the easiest of them all, it was pretty much straight forward.
 
Yeah I would vote for Resident Evil remake as well because it was a bit hard at first with the hunters especially and them crimsons. Though I found the game exiting and scary.

I agree with that bman as for me too it was easy and straightforward though I did like it how the game was set out in different parts of Raccoon city.
 
Mines 2 i loved that game. Tho i do agree the backtracking was a bit of a pain. Leon was my fav character of all the games. So ya for 4 when its released =D
 
I still can't see what people like about the RE series. It's a whole bunch of zombies that don't want to die. I guess I'm just so far out of the story.
 
So it's a tie so far between RE2 and REremake. :D

Which reminds me that I need to finish playing RE.
 
I'm talking about the 1st RE on PSX, I haven't finished that game. I've played it all the way up to the part where some guy is trapped in a room and the ceiling is falling.
 
I'm just about to beat Resident Evil (GC) for a second time. This time on hard mode with Jill. I'm at the lab and close to the Tyrant. After that i'll probably try to beat Real Survivor mode with Chris.

I definately like the remake best, but I think RE 4 might beat them all.
