Best/Worst endings to a Series

I didn't like the ending to fate/stay night.

But that's mostly because I shipped Saber/Shiro and they couldn't be together in the end.

It's not the worst, though. I just didn't like it.
 
I haven't seen the ending to very many. But out of what I have seen, my favorite and least favorite at the same time is Digimon Season 3.
 
Best: School Days (I loved the psychotic ending, XD)

Worst: Death Note (Bah. Ended so cheaply. Not fair at all.)

Think my favorite was Cowboy Bebop, I felt it gave closure. Atleast for Spike.

Worst is probably Gantz, although the manga is still going.
 
I finished up the manga of Elfen Lied. I cried pretty hard here too. It's heartbreaking, the whole thing! Definitely my favorite series of all time. No doubt.
 
Oh, I just thought of one, and I am wondering why I didn't think of it before.

The anime ending of Claymore. Totally not canon with the manga (which actually is still going as a matter of fact), and therefore made of suck.
 
InuYasha had one of the worse endings mostly because it didn't have an ending and after 167 episodes I don't care if the manga has concluded or not I want real ending not some stupid monologue at the end about how the adventure will continue. I want closure dang it.

Air Gear did the same thing, just with 26 episodes.
 
Akikan! Didnt like the ending that much. Also K-On. They should make a season 2 for both of these to make it better.

Inuyasha has been revived. They're finishing the anime up.

I don't know but if I were to guess I would say the ratings and merchandies sales were going down and they figured if they ended when they did they could milk it some more latter.
 
I actually loved the School Days ending.

I mean, your stitting there thinking "Gee someone needs to kill that guy, hes such a jerk, and then it happens. Afterward you think "Well maybe death was a liiitle to harsh" but at that one moment when he has the knife in him, you're like "Woohoo!"

It was wierd that the blood was black though
