Boss Fights!

Everybody's had those confrontations with the ultimate boss. The one that just sticks in your mind when you even think about a 'boss'. Some of these are the coolest battles you've ever experienced in a video game. Some bosses jus look bad-@z! When you think of bosses, which one sticks out in your mind? Maybe one that looked tremendously menacing? Maybe one that was just fun to fight?

Name your boss of the bosses here and reasons why. :D

Hmm, I think one that really sticks out is lake creature from RE4 (someone refresh me on the name of it please?). I remember watching trailers for the game and that was one of the coolest monsters I had seen, and when I finally got to play it, I could never forget it. Although it was a bit simple to defeat, it kept your adrenaline going, even after the 3rd or 4th time playing it.

A couple others would be El Gigante from RE4, Nemisis form RE3, the boss of the Water Temple in Zelda: OoT, and Bowser from Mario 64. El Gigante was just freakin massive and so fun to play against in the different environments, Nemisis always kept you on your toes and you never knew when he was gonna come at you (and gave you special prizes if you decided to stick around and fight him), the Water Temple boss (another name refresh please) because it was different on how to fight it (and marked the end of my 6-month rut in that game), and Bowser because the way to fight him was really different than other things that had been done (and especially took advantage of the joystick).

Ah, good times.

Hmmm,......lets see,the boss that was the all time hardest for me,was Chaos in his ultimate form(Sonic Adventure,Sega Dreamcast)but after a couple hundred times i beat him.

the most coolest boss,or like coolest matchup,is Sonic the hedgehog V.S. Shadow the hedgehog
in sonic adventure 2 for dreamcast, every time you fight him is like so cool! :D

Shadow the hedgehog is a bad azz to fight and to play with. :af

Sonic Adventure Super Sonic Vs. Chaos 7

Death in Dracula X: Rondo of Blood (beginning of the game and the Pirate Ship)

Resident Evil 2 William Birkins I agree on

Resident Evil Remake on Cube (Neptune the Shark) very very well done...

Silent Hill 3....Heather Vs. GOD...that was freaky...

Sonic Adventure 2.... Sonic and Shadow Vs. FINAL HAZARD...that was so pimp...

DOOM 3..... The Cyber Demon...man he's huge lol

SVC Chaos....Shin Mr. Karate....

CVS2......SHIN Rugal....i did not see that coming...

Resident Evil Code Veronica...."The big BUG" in the back of the cargo hatch of the plane......that was intense...

SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS

The biggest and by far the most impressive"boss fights" in any videogame EVER MADE !!!!! PERIOD !!! There can be no arguments.

Trust me, you've never seen enimies like this. NOTHING else comes close. This thread end's here! :lol

Shadow of the Colossus is unlike any game you've ever played. The game is so good and the boss's so impressive it's worth buying a PS2 for this game alone.

That's what I'm saying. The first time you see these monstor's walking around way out in the distance, you don't thing much of them untill you get closer and you realise just how big they are. "How the heck do I defeat something like that" is exactly what you say to yourself. No other Boss in no other game gives you the same feeling of "Uh oh. I'm in trouble" :lol

Shadow of the Colossus all the way. If you're a gamer, you owe it to yourself to buy this game.

Most memorable Boss Fights I can remember were:

Sephiroth - Final Fantasy VII

Ganondorf/Ganon - The Legend of Zelda: OOT

Bowser - Super Mario 64

Bowser - Super Mario World

The Crocodile - Resident Evil 2

River City Ransom EX's final boss

You fight you way through town just to get to the other high school to save your girl (If you're playing Riki/Ryan). After defeating his gangs and bosses you confront him on the rooftop and he gives you a speech on how you don't deserve your girl. Best of all, if you have three dudes in your posse who aren't Zombies, he gets the three previous bosses to help him out, so you have an all out brawl on the rooftop against the strongest dudes in the game!

Holy crap...I made this thread 5 years ago? I definitely have some new favorite bosses.

- Kessler in inFamous

- All the bosses in 3D Dot Game Heroes

- Poseidon and Hades in God of War 3

Wow, my list of bosses from 5 years ago was pretty lame. :lol Let's try this again...

Stallord - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Is that the dude in the desert temple and you're going around him on that wheel? If so, that is one of my favorite bosses. It's been a while since I've played it though. Just picked up the GC version.

That's the one, Creepin. I found the Twilight Princess bosses too easy, but this one was so fun that I didn't care.

that's what i felt through the entire game, it was easy but epic.
