Burnout Paradise...anyone try the demo?

I love the Burnout series, but I haven't had a chance to try the demo out yet. It's up on the marketplace, though. I'll probably dl it tomorrow and see what I think.

I thought Burnout 3: Takedown was better than Burnout Revenge, so I hope it's more like Burnout 3.
 
yea, i downloaded and I have to say I HATE IT. its like Need For Speed U 2 where ur able to drive around Motor City. Its lame and it doesnt feel the same.
 
downloaded the demo and played with some friends tonight. Have to say the demo is full of "meh." After playing burnout 3 a few weeks ago and playing burnout revenge on the 360 the last few days, Paradise feels like burnout dominator (which has been the worst in the series) with a NFSU2 story/free roam tacked on.
 
I liked it, but it felt a little slowdown compared to the last one I played, which was Revenge. Still has some really sweet damage detail from what I saw and sporting off some excellent detail to the car itself. Which makes me wonder if they focused on the look of the game more so than the gameplay at times.
 
I haven't sat on the dashboard yet and actually let the thing download, cause everytime you go into Halo 3 it stops downloads... It'll eventually get doen.
