Can someone explain the mouse and dpi info?

well... I had a couple people asking... and I thought I'd just post it up here to refer the link..etc.

Anyway, Does anyone have a good way to explain this? :)

Cool.... I need to find a mouse with a higher DPI then! I find myself having to move it too much at times. I have the Microsoft Intellimouse... and I have to say, I like that mouse the best... but I haven't tried many of the gaming mice today.

As far as I know, DPI stands for Dots Per Inch. The higher the number, the more sensitive the mouse is. Personally, my mouse is 800 and I think it's fine for all my games.
