Can someone explain to me why people think WoW is so much better then eq2?

I really dont get why ppl think WoW is so much better then EQ2 can some1 fill me in why.. ive played both and personally i prefer EQ2 over WoW
 
I've played both and I prefer neither, as it costs money monthly(lame) and are just dumb.
 
Really? ok im an antiWoW member but the reason i believe everyone likes WoW is cuz its got tradin cards. Besides, Runscape beats both.
 
I think it's mostly the aesthetic value of WoW. I can't be sure of this, of course, but there are a lot of visual delights that appear in WoW but not in any other MMORPG. At the very least, that's my best guess.

That makes no sense. Trading cards came out after the game became a cultural phenomenon and had an installed base of 5 million people. The game made the trading cards, not the other way around.

Doubt it. It's a respect thing. We all were beginners in our hobby. And there is no caste system in these forums.

As far as WoW, or any other MMORPG, I like my life. I have little time to sit at a computer all night long just to "lvl" up.

A bunch of us have been called that on these forums. I personally have as well. I wasn't aware that it was one of the frowned upon words here. :lol

I always thought it was geeky to call people that.

Personally I'm not an online player. I don't really see what's great about them at all.
 
But then if you think about it, WoW is nowhere near wow. It's more ugh.
 
But most people who haven't heard of it would be more, WTF, wouldn't they? If someone ask if I've ever played WoW, I'd be like, what?

I would be all like WOW!!!! because the name is WoW and I wanna use a corny pun for once. Is that so much to ask? :D

This debate isn't going anywhere anymore. We both agree they suck so why are we arguing about the title?
 
Because we both agree the games suck, so there isn't much else to debate.
