can someone help me with this image

basically... I want the white background transparent.... I cannot seem to get it this way at all.... IE i can have the "selected" be a gif and I made it transparent, but there is still that white part to the left of the file tab....... see the yellow image to see what I am talking about and how it should be.

I appreciate the help.

I wish I could help you, but unfortunately most of my "photo editing" experience is limited to MS Paint, aka "worst editor in existense."

heeeeeyyyy... I think you got it... what did you do?

on the file tab of the image (the part of the file that sticks up on the top) is part of that cut off?

what.. its about 3-5 pixels missing the whiter shade... can you fill it in? :lol If I could get the transparency right... I'd do it... but then we'd be back at square 1 without a transparent image :-\ meh.

I just used Photoshop, I copied the pic and pasted it and tried to crop the white spaces out of it with a transparent background, Hmm...but it didn't work all the way though.

I think I'll have to redo it again, do you even still need though? I mean this topic is fairly outdated.
 
yeah I do actually... I forgot to copy and past it.

I am going to use it for the board :)

just make sure that tab is in place :lol
