ok.... this may be obvious and well known....... but I didn't know this ..... nor do I know if this is true.

Does Capcom stand for:
Captain Commando?

They used that "mascot" on their old nes games (I don't remember seeing it in the snes days).

just curious if thats what Capcom actually stood for.
