Capcom, where is the love?

This has always been bugging me. Why does Capcom not like the Xbox? Almost every game they release is a fighting game.

None of the other great titles by them. Xbox has a mature audience, yet it didn't get RE4. It would have sold as good as the other versions! Devil May Cry could find a home there too.

Does anyone know why Capcom showed no love this gen, but seems to be showing quite a bit next gen?
 
well, Capcom was originally taken in by Sony, so I can see why they made RE4 for the PS2 finally

I guess Capcom wasn't sure if the Xbox was going to be a hit because it was the first console made my Microsoft, but now that they know how popular the xbox is they are going to make more games for the new Microsoft consoles
 
Im guessing they will soon. Remember money talks and thats the reason why RE4 went to the PS2 despite telling Nintendo it was going to be a GCN exclusive. Like Dray said now that the 360 and the xbox in general is a hit, Im sure they'll release something. Although personally I want that new SFII Hyper edition for the 360.
 
Yeah, I can see why uncertainty of Xbox taking off being a reason why there weren't any titles early on...But even later on, like 2003-2004 when the Xbox was doing great Capcom didn't support it.
