Konami has announced

Akumajou Dracula: Sougetsu no Juujika

for a future release on the DS. The name roughly translates to :

Castlevania: The Cross of the Blue Moon

While Konami has yet to release details on the game, Sougetsu no Juujika appears to be the recently announced Castlevania DS title.

The name Akumajou Dracula hasn't been used since 1997. That year, Konami released Akumajou Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku, also known as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, for the PlayStation.

no doubt about it, if that's real or not, because Konami will follow Sony to the ends of the earth probably
 
Have you seen it in action Link? The touch screen is used to "Draw" the magic attacks, you draw the design (Like a star shape with the pen) and Soma will perform one
 
I hate that idea, it sounds like Amazing Island draw a monster sorta stuff
It would be cool if you could say spells into the mic.
 
I keep forgetting that the DS has a Mic...the funny thing about CastleVania...lately they have left the japanese names of spells and weapons in the game...so saying it right would be a riot :lol
 
IT would be cool to finally see what people can do with the DS.

I still say it has the most potential because of the touch screen giving unique game play.

No one agrees with me though.  I see this to be an amazing unit with a possibility of some killer games.

I mean if you think about it... when it comes down to it...would you rather play Gran Turismo PSP online, or Mario Kart DS online?

I'm willing to bet that more people have been anticipating an online Mario Kart than Gran Turismo.

Some would say that the DS doesn't have much going for it....but imagine if they make an online Pokemon game for it (along with the already confirmed online Mario Kart and Animal Crossing). That's the ace that Nintendo has up their sleeve. IMO.
