its a new shooter coming out for the Dreamcast AND the Gamecube!
Its vertical in nature, and i tell you what, it is looking cool.

Check out the pics!  I have already contacted the company about a stateside release.... I am sure hoping we get one.

Its looking to be a great game!

I am sure it will be similar... except different at the same time.

Similar as in a vertical shooter.... different in gameplay elements (different aircraft to choose from, you wouldn't absorb some fire while getting killed by something else).  About the only similarity will be that its a vertical "airplane" style shooter :)

I am hoping to get this to the US though! Both for the DC and GC

I do like vertical shooters. One of my favorite games to play when I go to the arcade is 1942 on the Ultracade. That game is classic.
 
The only simialr element I could point out was "Grazing", or only being able to get it in the center of your ship. I hope its challenging like Ikaruga.

Of the same genre, Ikaruga would be the hardest, but of other games I could pull out a few. Alundra, Riven, and in some cases, Defcon 5.

I love hard puzzle games, I don't know why.
 
No, I haven't. But i've seen plenty of clips and it just doesn't look as tough as Contra: SS. I mean, Contra SS is EXTREME, you have to play it. It's nuts.
 
I would say Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) is one of the very hardest games ever. I have yet to play the full version, but the demo is hard enough!
 
Man... you all have to try Ikaruga if you think these other games are hard...

I am actually in talks with the company producing this game! I might be a US dealer in them :D

Kinda reminds me of ToS. The "big bad guy" is actually named after the after the tree Yggrasil, the tree that holds together heaven and hell, and all that crazy stuff in between. It was something like that anyway...

Heh, yeah..it goes a bit in-depth about the chaos field and stuff..

And I could import it, I suppose. I'd porbably buy Star Soldier and Castle of Shikigami 2 also, if I decide* to import.

*Read: Have enough money ;]

I have been looking into that game, but never bought it because I am not sure about it yet.

I wish it came to the US though. I don't like buying Jpn games for my personal collection.
