Condemned 2: Bloodshot Thread

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
After grabbing this game last night. I have to say, this is the most disturbing game I have yet to play, sure I've played Rule of Rose, Silent Hill Series, Resident Evil, Manhunt, FEAR, Condemned: Criminal Origins, etc. I love those games, but has a game truly scared you lately? Perhaps this is the one that will make you think twice before turning off the lights during gameplay..

Yet breaking down how downright tense this game has to be, it will make you jump now and again. Storyline is smashingly good, the visuals are so close to reality, that even my mind is confused on what's going on. Since the character you play as, is having a mental breakdown and is partially drunk from having a bad turn of events in his life. Which equals a swirl of jumping in and out of a really bad hang over and fighting disgusting druggies in the dirty-flithy streets of the city.

When it comes to violence in games, I have to say, I think the creators are fans of Scarface, Manhunt, and such. Since they use interesting fatalities. Originally, you just tap a button and your character will knee him in the face or snap his neck. Now you can do so much more, with a real time speed movement, it's a 1-2-3 punch. Right Fist, Left Fist, then both hands. In one scenario, he grabbed the criminal, carried him over and proceeded to throw him, head on into the monitor of a television, which killed him instantly.

I'm amazed Monolith and Sega lifted the boundaries on what they can do. More so to push the censorship further. Swearing in the original game was heard ever so often. Now, it's every chance you see a character. So please, if you have children or little brothers/sisters or eldery folk near by, turn the volume down, they love the MF word in this game.

Overall, I am really freaked out and paranoid this morning thanks to this game. If you think something is coming out of the walls, then you are not tripping out like Mr. Ethan Thomas himself.

Long as it takes you to beat it. Suck at it? Trying to 100%? Gonna take your time?

10 hours. You've probably already done all there is to do anyway.

it's starting to get pretty repetitive. all you do is go from view point to view point and then steal, eavesdrop, and kill.
