How many of you have been to any events where u got to dress up like your fave anime er video game characters? Do u have pics to share? If u ever went to a cosplay event what character would u dress up like? What is thecoolest costume u have ever seen someone dressed up in? Pics?
 
Well I went to the Renaissance Festival this year and that is like a medieval themed event. Kinda reminded me of Morrowind or LOTR. I didn't dress up or anything, though. But I did drink lots and lots of beer :D
 
When u said the part about drinking lots and lots of beer it made me think of that dwarf guy in lord of the rings who challenged legolas to that drinking contest.

My brother said down by where he lives in kansas they have a reinassance fair too and he really wanted to go, cuz it is currently going on, but so far he did not get to.

it would feel really cool to feel like u were actually in a town in oblivion or d and d er something tho. That sounds fun!. I would wanna get a cape tho with a hood to wear :) I know I have the one u have seen in pics, but it has no hood. I just fold the large collar thing up to pretend it is a hood lol.

If I dressed up for a cosplay type thingy, I dunno for sure who I would be but prolly Nyu from elfen lied, cuz I loved her character, er perhaps Felicia, cuz I like wearing tails and paws are cool too lol
 
Oh yea you would have fit right in there! Most people had those type of outfits, or like fake armor, etc,. Hahaha I kinda felt like Gimli that day! I was drinking and eating so much...ugh

I should mention, I ate some spicy alligator sausage there and it was really good!

It's a quiet time on the boards right now. It'll pick up eventually. A few weeks, months maybe. It goes through ups and downs.

Well, registrations were canned because of all the spam, I think. All our regulars are probably just busy right now.
 
Oh, ya that is true altho somehow spammers r still getting on the boards. That one keeps going around sending links of ugh boots. lol. Well, right now people r prolly at work. And maybe on the weekend people will come post here.
 
I wonder what happened to Mega. He hasn't been around in a long time. He used to post all the news and stuff.

I think Hell Scythe should come over here more...but the thing is if reg members come here a lot and noone ever is on er posting they prolly start only checking this place occasionally and have no idea that we are on right now and posting tons of interesting stuff for them to comment on. haha

Does gamingmaiden still go on here at all?
 
Dunno if he's on facebook or not. Me and him aren't exactly on the best terms. And I haven't heard or seen GM in a long time. I think she might have stopped talking to me because of what happened between me and MD, but idk. I know her sister GaminGirl went nuts over it, and I haven't heard from GM since.
BUt I think she kinda stopped posting here altogether when she moved to japan.
 
Hmm, I dunno what happened between u and mega. I thought u guys were good friends. lol

Gamingmaiden didn't get banned er anything tho right? I thought her parents said she couldn't come here again er something after what went on with Boomsickle, but I could be wrong. I know her parents were super mad at him and she was not allowed to talk to him er something. Hmm.

Well, I kinda wish gamingmaiden would come back cuz I liked her

And I miss Firesickle too. She was really nice and friendly
 
We were for a while, then we started this podcast thing together and there was some disagreements... long story, but in the end, we stopped talking to each other. And as far as I know, that hasn't changed.

And I don't think GM got banned. Although idk why she didnt come back after she moved to Japan. I know I've seen her on steam since then, so I assume she has internet.

Oh, that is really cool, Mai! :) I love seeing peoles costumes, and it's like bringing things to life! :) I especially liked the Terezi one!
