Details on four new Tales games!

Although we've already heard of the Tales coming to the Wii, and the remakes of older ones coming to the PS2 and PSP, I'm really excited for Tales of Innocence for the DS. You take the role of a son of a merchant, named Luca. You have special powers, but you aren't alone. Others with special powers start appearing around the town...sounds like a cool story so far. :)

The game's battle system will be a combination of past Tales systems. Innocence will use the Dimension Stride LMBS (Linear Motion Battle System), which is said to combine elements of the Flex Range LMBS from Abyss and the Aeral LMBS from the PS2 version of Destiny.

Maybe some of you will know what they're talking about, I know Mai does. :)

Although I told you the details of the DS game, make sure to check out the details from all the games as well. I wonder if they'll ever do a Tales game for the 360?

I think if Eternal Sonata does well enough they might consider a Tales game for the 360. That's why I'm trying to get people to check it out and buy it. :)

I'm doing my part around here as well. I keep telling people by my Gamestop to preorder it cause it's guaranteed to rock their socks off...and I made my best friend preorder it too without him knowing anything about it...he just trusts me I guess. I hope it pays off. :D

I'm not sure how well Eternal Sonata will do. The Tales games just never really caught on with a mainstream audience in America (and let's fae it, like 5 people have a 360 in Japan), which is a shame because it actually is a pretty good series of games, so I just can't see Eternal Sonata becoming a bestseller. Who knows, though. It could end up selling like a million copies. I'll probably pick it up (pending the reviews).

As for Tales, we now have a PSP on, a PS2, and DS? Cool. Symphonia was good, so if I have enough money, I'll probably pick one of them up. :)

Definitely, they're doing the smart move in presenting themselves to such a wider audience through all the different systems.

Eternal Sonata comes out a week before Halo 3, though. So it's really going to need all the word-of-mouth help it can get. Namco's never been very good about releasing their games against competition, and they don't advertise enough, either. So far all the big game sites are excited about it, though. Hopefully that will translate into great reviews.

if I get myself a Xbox 360,(not anytime soon :lol) I'll buy this game.:)
Looks really nice.

The ds game looks great......I hope there will be more information on it soon. Excited. :)

Im not sure iof Eternal Sonata will do that well cuz when i think of 360 owners I think of FPS addicts... not rpg fans

I used to think FPS addicts had the original Xbox. I think the 360 has alot more variety now, and some RPG's coming out are really gonna bring the RPG fans to the 360.
