Devilish Returns to Handhelds
Classic Game Gear action game goes touch-screen on the Nintendo DS.

February 3, 2005 - The latest issue of Japanese publication Famitsu has revealed a new title in development for the Nintendo DS: a remake of the classic 1990s Genesis/Megadrive and Game Gear game, Devilish.
The original Devilish was a rendition of the classic Breakout design in a dark, "horror" style. The Nintendo DS version will improve on the originals graphics and gameplay, utilizing both screens for level design as well as the touch screen for precise paddle movement. It will also support wireless link-up for multiple players.
The game will be released in April by Starfish in Japan. No word on a possible US release.
