Hi Fellow Members!

I was shopping for games today and I noticed there was a used copy of "FF XII" for $25.00, seems pretty reasonable. What I want to know is,was this title made a "Greatest Hits"? If not, don't you think it should be?

The "Final Fantasy" I detest so much is "FF X",and that managed to become a "Greatest Hits".

God Bless,
MR.KAZ

Yea, around here used copies of FF12 go for $14. And begin a greatest hit is not based on popularity, but rather the amount of copies sold {at least I think that is how it works}. FFX was a brilliant game and one of the most popular PS2 games ever made :)

X2 is right. Though, Disgaea and Odin Sphere are examples that the under appreciated games could attain Greatest Hits.

I am still surprised either of those games became greatest hits. Now if we could just get the Shin Megami and Persona games to greatest hits :)

C'mon guys,

Are you trying to tell me you liked that stupid grid type system.Should I devote 6 or 7 years of my life to build my characters up.There was hardly any surprises, all that incredibly stupid "BlitzBall",quite possibly the dumbest side game on earth, not to mention the amazing amount of foreshadowing known to man.I respect you're guys opinion, you're certainly entitled.

Whoever come up with this lazy and predictable adventure, should be incarcerated.

What a coincidence, I think the EXACT same thing about GTA.

Final Fantasy X is in my top 3 favorite games of all time. Thank you very much. :)

Wow, strong hatred over a video game :lol First of all, I liked the grid system and I had just about completely built up my characters in under 100 hours, so it sure as heck doesn't take very long. Secondly, Blitzball was not THAT bad, and last time I checked it was optional. I personally love the game and it's one of my favorite PS2 games in my collection. I have beaten it 3 times now and plan to again :)

Hi x2!

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. :)

I'm gonna have to side with the FFX fans here.

The Sphere Grid is one of my favorite leveling systems. I took everyone through their section and then moved them into another one to make even stronger characters. It's not that complicated. 6 or 7 years? Please, that's a gross exaggeration. Even doing a lot of level grinding, I finished in under 100 hours.

Blitzball is a lot of fun if you know what you're doing. But if you don't like it, I think it's only mandatory for one part of the game, and after that you don't have to ever play it again.

And as for predictable, are you serious?

You knew from the start that Jecht was Sin?
That Auron was already dead and just hadn't been sent?
That Yuna was really on a mission to kill Sin and herself with it?
That Yuna would have to kill all of her Summon Spirits?

I'm at the edge with FFX. The story could have been better but, FFX as a whole brought me back towards FFVIII. The Grid system was alot of fun to customize with. Blitzball may be my 3rd favorite minigame in all of the Final Fantasy's.

Now FFXII, I think that may be one of the worst Final Fantasy's. But, we all know why I don't like that one. =P

Hi Mega!

I'm not sure if I've played that one. What is the North American equivalent to that title?

It was released on the following formats:

SNES, PS1, GBA, and DS

Hi Mega,I hope this post finds you well,

How long did it take you to kill the "Pink Puffs" for the "Pink Tail"?I spent about 5 hours one day with no luck. The next day I got it in 20 minutes!

This is interesting,I remember calling the hint line and the guy told me that the odds of running into the Pink Puffs was 1 in 64,on top of that the odds they will drop the Pink Tail is also 1 in 64

It is probably best on the SNES. The PS1 was changed a little. It spoiled some of the surprises or plot twists, for me even though I already knew, by the way they redid some of the writting of the story. The GBA always chops up and shortens any ported RPGs for some reason, one example was Lunar Legend. I haven't had the opportunity to play the DS version yet.

I liked FFX. And I really like the way they did FFXII. I am in-process of playing it periodically. I like the way it feels massively big when going through the city.
