disappointed with amount of games released on wii!

this is the first time i've been on these forums in about 2 months.
why?
because i found no reason to be on here.
why?
because i found no reason to play my wii for the past 2 months
why?
because nintendo hasn't released any good titles for the system yet. since i bought my wii back in february the only game i've purchased is zelda which was a good game but where are all those ground-breaking titles nintendo promised us right after release? i've had SSBB on pre-order since january (before i got my wii) but thats basically the only game i've had any desire to buy. i feel like nintendo has let me down here with their failure to release games. i was so excited about waiting for 5 hours to get a wii and now i'm almost regretting doing that. does anyone agree with me here?!?!
 
first most were put back for the wifi network to be added, and secondly ha My SSBB has been on preorder since december (no idea why i said that i just wanted to :P :))
 
And it surprises you that Nintendo can't keep a steady stream of games going in the normal gaming drought time, right after launch when nothing EVER comes out, and...well it's nintendo and they always have problems keeping a steady stream of good games because of their horrible relations with third party developers.

Things can change. And the relationship between the Big N and third party developers are beginning to warm up. And just like every console ever made, it takes a while after launch to put out quality games that are worth playing.

I'd say that by the time I go out and buy a Wii and a 360, there will be plenty of good stuff to find...
 
There is this game called Super Paper Mario, maybe you have heard of it? Just came out in April, has this guy named Mario in it? :D

All joking aside, I do recommend picking it up if you are looking for a great Wii game.

Everyone I know who has it loves it. And it got Game of the Month from Game Informer (in their June issue).
 
I hear ya, k_bres. Right now I only use my Wii for one thing: Virtual Console.

But it's a totally different ball game once Brawl comes out. My god, man. Brawl. ::D

actually ive only heard it mentioned one time ever other than u just saying that, i really wanna get it tho :lol:
 
It's a naturally slow time for game release, plus the system is still new. Most stores still can't hold them in stock for more than a few days.
