if you ever have trouble watching a movie on a ps2 slim, like if it glitches out and starts skipping halfway through, i have found a solution that actually works

throw the freakin controller at it

starts working right away, and now im back to watching 1408 like nothing ever happened

:) :) :) :) :) :)
 
I've had luck by just using a CD/DVD player cleaner... Made the disc read errors in my PS2 go away quick-like.
