My guess is no.
If they decide in his favor,the other countries are going to complain that he was given special treatment because of who he is.If they decline,some people will make race an issue.He loses either way,sadly.

well... I think it has to do with the perception of the US right now within the IOC. They are not digging Americans at this time. It also seems that Obama tried a little too hard up front.
