Some time ago I posted a thread(I can't remember which Forum)with respect to Michael Jordan not appearing in almost all Basketball video games and why.I was told it was because he owns the rights to his own name, and just didn't want to be in video games.Does this hold true with Mike Tyson?
I've played a lot of Boxing games where they allow you to pick retired or dead fighters for a "Career Mode" of sorts. Why not Mike Tyson?Just for the record,I know he went out of Boxing on a pretty bad note, what with biting Holyfield's ear and all.Who knows why he did it,some say he knew he had no chance to win,I'm not sure why, maybe he's seen "The Godfather III" too many times.
Someone told me he's not in most Boxing games due to the fact he never "Officially" announced his retirement.I'm posting this to get your opinions on the issue. While I'm on the subject,I think it's not fair to judge him because of his unsavoury actions towards the end of his career, without giving him his due respect for being an outstanding fighter.I understand the gravity of the situation in which he bit Holyfield's ear, what a lot of people don't know is that Holyfield was the first one in line to forgive him.
My only other question is that someone told me that a fighter of his caliber doesn't have his hands registered.I think they are, because he can respond in a fight with lethal results.I'm very interested in your opinions on this.
Sincerely,
