Does Your PC Ever Slow Down For Practically No Reason?

I do my regular scans and all,but sometimes my computer just acts slow.What annoys me is when you go to another page,sometimes the green bar indicator goes half way then stops.Does this ever happen to do you guys?
 
Hmm that could be a few things. Could be that you have stuff running that you don't know about, memory problems, virus/malware, or it could possibly be your actual connection to the internet. That's only happened a few times on my PC's and it was just slow internet connection. You can probably log into your modem if you type in your IP address. If you can log into youy modem you can see your actual connection speeds and possible reset it to get a new, faster connection. To find your IP address run command line and type ipconfig {at least that's how it works in XP}. Good luck.

yeah it definitely sounds like the internet connection. i have the same problem. i live in a trailer park and we are all gettin our internet from the same cable company and later at night when everyone is on it goes ssssoooo sssslllloooowwww.

but if you think it may be your computer then try a disk cleanup or defragment your disk and see if that helps a little.

Hmmmm.. I've never had it to do that with me. I've been using it for over ten years. What would make it slow down?
