DS Lite Battery Life

Hey guys I know the battery life depends on the brightness setting of the DS. My question is, what brightness do you guys play your DS LITE on?

Also, about how long does your battery last before you have to charge it?

I usually play on the second highest but have to charge it a lot it seems.
 
Doesn't Nintendo average the time out?? My regular ole Blue DS lasts about ten hours on a charge.
