I was going to start playing some Mario Kart on WIFI today. I was wondering how far away I can be from my router. I highly doubt I can play while I am up in my room but was curious as to where in my house I can play from.

How far away do you guys all play from.
 
It truly depends on your router.

I can play from my room, one floor and about 30 feet away in horizontal distance. Three walls in between.

Then again, my backup router only goes about 10-20 feet x-x
 
I've been able to be connected upwards of thirty feet away (thought I had open space between me and the router), I also connected up one floor. When I first got the router I set it up at my inlaws house and was able to get a signal probably 40-50 feet away and through multiple walls, but the signal was pretty weak.
 
Get wireless boosters and plant them around your house to resurge your signal and play to your heart's content.
