I guess they haven't been too company friendly is what I'm seeing. Twitter and Facebook love everyone lately.

Why anyone wants to share comicized low res pictures is beyond me. Instead of incorporating fqcebook nintendo should have spent time making cards/profiles for us to sport our nintendo friend codes on as well as localizing more titles.

First there was Friendster, then Myspace.

At least Myspace allowed users to personalize homepages so there was no longer a need for terribly executed HTML pages on geocities and similar networks.

Facebook was great when it first arrived, simply because it was exclusive. When only university students could use it, it had focus. Now everyone and their mothers are on it. Seriously, it creeps me out to see my friends' mothers on Facebook. I prefer using it for school contacts rather than socializing. However, it has gotten to the point where it is constantly loaded with whatever each person's daily life is about, what they had for dinner, what her kitten did this morning, what his ex girlfriend said. It is becoming more and more lame and childlike. Oh, then the applications are just stupid, annoying flash games, many of which end in asking for your cell phone number so the sponsor can text your new quiz results to you and your friends! Give me a break, I am quickly beginning to hate Facebook.

Twitter...I won't even touch it because of the way Facebook has gone.

Now, Facebook is coming to the DS?

I bought the DS to play video games, not to read supposed IQ test results posted by a third party application about one of my friends to attmept to gain access to my information for marketing purposes....

YICH...

/end rant

Then you haven't seen much of MySpace because that's exactly what it became. :lol

As for the rest of your rant. It's all about what you allow to get through. I feel the same way but it's also what you allow through. I have a very select group of friends and it's not annoying or stupid at all. Both MySpace and Facebook allow you to control what you see and what you don't. Same with Twitter, I have an account but I don't post anything. I'm also only following around 10 people or so. I just made sure that the people I was following were not the type that post stupid stuff that I don't care about at all. You also don't have to use any of the applications on Facebook, I only use about 2 or 3.

@Creepin and Grind

I agree totally, but the only thing I have to say, is now I have a picture of Bill from King of the Hill, drinking a beer on my facebook photo album. Best $169 I ever spent :lol That ends my rebuttal.

People are dumb? I really don't see why someone would get a DS when they already have one just because it has a camera....

I would get A DSi for other features but the camera actually XD.... (plus i got a phat DS so i need to upgrade anyway)

I got a DSi because I wanted all extra features...it's not that bad. Not that good, but not that bad...

The DSi camera has a tendency to emphasize the yellow hue in every image Ive seen so far. Not only that, even at close distances taking a picture with anything that has any text on it turns out to look weird and blurry. It would have benefited if there were some image stabilization features or more scene options.

And with the advent of Cameras that do have wifi connection, (cameraphones too), as well as touch screens where you can manipulate the image on the screen once you take the picture, Nintendo has got nothing on them. I hope this gimmick is as slightly used as the microphone was.
