Ex Marine goes missing after playing Call of Duty 4

That doesn't make the fact that someone who was protecting OUR country (yes I said it) is missing. People are too ungrateful nowadays.
Well, I don't think Stealth should exactly be grateful that someone enlisted in the American army, when he's from Canada.

More on topic, has there been any update on this story?

I wasn't talking about Stealth, but thanks for the input.

But there's no update. He's still missing. :-\

It's been almost 5 days. Where could the guy possibly have gone?

He could very well have just went somewhere and committed suicide. It's sad to say, but that is my honest guess. God d#$@ pointless war. bleh. Sorry

Maybe he's just off hiding being paranoid? Way to stay positive, guys. :/

Jesus dude why would you suggest that??? that just like...anyway if hes a marine hes prolly went all like that squirell from happy tree friends and killed 300 people or somthing and then fled into the forest wearing nothing but a bush

That was a complete dramatization of course, so dont hold it against me

My cousin is a marine and we have fun with marines all the time...dude hes like...ultra marine or somthing

I honestly think if you suffer from trauma from something like a war, it's not brought back by a videogame. He knew that he was traumatized. What in good sense would make you play an ultra-realistic war sim like Call Of Duty 4 as a form of entertainment? That's like surviving the world trade center attacks and playing "Escape From The Burning Building".

I can understand how CoD 4 could bring a traumatic experience actually serving in Iraq to the forefront of one's mind. A testament to the quality of realism the game displays, but in this case quite unfortunate for Hall and his family. I hope he's ok, just needed some time to think or what have you.
seriously... I could see why it would as well.

Soldiers with Post traumatic stress... they can go off at the sound of someone whistling because they think it's an RPG.

I hope they find him as well... and that this story is not made up... that would be even more tragic.

I could only imagine what the soldier has been through based on what the article says that happened... that would be VERY VERY traumatic...

†B†V† :hat

I like George Bush. He's kept our nation safe after 9/11. We haven't had a single attack on our country since.

But I won't get into political debates..they turn into flame wars anyways.

I wish there was some way to check up on this story.

True, but look at the mess we've made in Iraq. It's not just all about our safety! Either way, this is probably not the topic for this kind of debate :lol

On topic. Yes, I do wonder what has happened with this guy. I have not heard any new news on it :-[

Well I could care less about this situation. It has nothing to do with me, and yes I am a bit self centered.
