Well lately i've been getting into 3D stuff and I was messing around with Cinema4D and came up with this stuff:

http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/8192/metalrender29wv.png

http://img465.imageshack.us/img465/8854/glassdragon1by.png
http://img47.imageshack.us/img47/3672/spiderball8ot.png

Last two are my favorite, keep in mind these are just novice exeriments in Cinema4D, so dont say its off center or anything :P
I hope to learn more in that program, and no BV, its not a free software :D (theres a trial though)

Oh and for the last one, I have a 2048x1536 if anyone wants to see the amazing detail :P (9+ megs so I cant upload it XD)

very shiny :drool

good stuff, I couldn't make anything close to as good that, I like the glassdragon

Nice to see you are trying your hand at 3D abstract. Many people think you have to start out modeling a character or human head. There are not enough people making abstract art. Don't forget you can combine Photoshop with any 3D design software to enhanse the output or combine it with other elements. The spiderball is my Fav.

BTW, try out Blender if you want a free 3D software.
