fable Q here

Another Fable question: What the heck is that thing in the forest that drops scorpions and why is it laughing at me?? And how do I beat it??
 
Well the thing that is shooting scorpions and laughing is this wood sprite enemy that you can kill if you either
A. Have a strong enough lighting spell just keep shocking it and it will die.

B. If you have the time stop spell just wait for the roots almost catch you and you can focus on her and stop time and attack her and kill her.
 
Oh. Okay. Well I guess I gotta get crackin' and stop screwing around. In between quests, I have been terrorizing the bandits and townspeople. :lol
 
I've just started playing. I'm about 3 or 4 hours in now. I'm doing good deeds (and the odd inadvertent bad one) and my hair's turned white. I'm pretty scarred up but I still got a wife. Nice house too. Gotta rescue that damn archeologist now...
