Re: FALLOUT: New Vegas this Fall on PC, PS3, and 360! Bethesda strikes again.

It's nice that the PS3 is in on this one. :)

Fall 2010! Nice deadline. I might just put that down for Christmas ^_^

Re: FALLOUT: New Vegas this Fall on PC, PS3, and 360! Bethesda strikes again.

I'm not sure if I'll pick this up or not. I couldn't really get into Fallout 3.

USA Today reveals the plot details.

Aside from a cursory description of the game's premise on its official website, we've heard very little about Fallout: New Vegas. Today, friends, that changes, with a USA Today feature that reveals the game's protagonist as a shot and left-to-die package delivery boy who finds himself in Sin City "and the surrounding area" in 2280. "You were a courier, and you were obviously carrying something that somebody wanted," Bethesda Softworks' Pete Hines says of the player's character. "Part of the story is finding out what you had and what they took."

Hines additionally insists New Vegas will "feel" far different from 2008's Fallout 3 through one key aspect: the setting. "Vegas is up and running. It is not a ghost town. It still exists and thrives. There are casinos, and you can go down onto the Strip. It will have a very different feel from that standpoint."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Hines also notes that the New Vegas will "take you hundreds of hours to explore every nook and cranny" -- not unlike the 2008 iteration of the Fallout franchise. We'd be straight lying if we said we weren't unbelievably ready to invest that time in more of the Fallout universe this fall, even after all of last year's DLC.

Official Fallout New Vegas Thread ( I think )

Well we still don't have a official release date on it's release sometime this fall, I still can't wait for any info on this game!! so many questions and so little answers, for instance what are some of the new weapons, are you going to make your own armor this time any chance of Vachel's or maybe some sort of a mount? There is also a new hardcore mode and well it is what it sounds like, just some few examples it turns into a real survival game, from you having to drink water and eat, to using new stomps more often since they now will wear off! I do no somethings about the story, you do not start off in a vault, that's it because I really don't want to give anything away. if you already seen the trailer then there are somethings left unanswered for starters the only building recognizable is the Stratasphere it seems the luxor is no where in sight, also there seems to be power flowing thru the city which means that the hover dam is still operational, another thing is that the mystery character is holding the California flag, so is there some type of law system now? With month's to go before this game is released and I can't wait! :D

is no one else excited about this game :?

I'm very excited about it too-- Fallout: New Vegas and Red Dead Redemption are my two most anticipated 360 games this year. :) The ONLY thing I didn't like about FO:3 is that I seemed to get motion sick while playing it sometimes (mostly while in tunnels and buildings); has never happened to me with any other game.
