Fast food sucks in general. I refuse to eat at McDonald's (overall gross), Rally's (gave me food poisoning) or Burger King (had too much of that on campus, only the chicken sandwiches, but still.. bleh) anymore.
I eat at Taco Bell more often in the summer, since it's cheap and open late. The chicken soft tacos are the grub (though sometimes you have to order a soft taco substatute chicken since they took chicken soft taco off the menu at some locations). Chicken meat, a little bit of cheese and lettuce on a soft tortilla; protein, fiber, calcium, low in carbs & fat = good food. Plus, it's light, good for summer nights.
Subway is not quite fast food, but again, turkey sub on wheat or oat bread with lots of veggies = light, overall low carb, low fat, high fiber and high protein food. Again, good stuff.
Wendy's burgers are about the only "fast food" burgers I can stand (since they actually use fresh, crisp veggies).
^ From that, can you tell that I prefer lighter, healthier foods than most fast food places tend to carry?
While on the topic, try substatuting pepperoni for ham on pizza, similar flavor with lower salt and grease.
